Literacy
  • Book Publishers - This is the main task
    • Turn your Sleeping Beauty story into a book.
    • We are going to share these with other classes - make them beautiful.

    • If you haven't got the internet, write about it and we can type it up at school
  • Reading
    • Read a newspaper during the holiday (Either the Guardian, Telegraph, Times, Independent)

Home Learning #6

Skiing Trip Dragons' Den Cake Sale Thing

  • Practice making whatever it is you are making over the weekend.
  • Buy anything you need to buy for Tuesday
    • Only Ollie's group came to me for finance - CLICK HERE - I hope you can all buy the stuff you need
    • The Bank of Mr Dooley will be open again on Monday, but my rates may go up.
  • Tell people about the Tuesday sale and get them to bring loads of money

Debate Club
  • The essay and debate are due next week - See previous home learning for deadlines
    • Aaron, Ben, Tyler, Alistair and Ollie G - You also still need to bring in, or finish, your poetry anthology.
  • Remember - The idea is that you ask someone. Research facts on the internet but if you speak to people they will be able to give you a better opinion related to Brundall.

Christmas Play
  • It's not too early to mention the C word...
  • This year we are doing a Victorian-style Music Hall
  • The first audition will be next week either Thursday or Friday (Depending on Mrs Wilson)
    • We are auditioning for the Chairman (or woman)
    • They will be introducing all the acts and warming up the crowd. I can think of loads of youthat will be perfect for this.
